Assessment plan
- direct observation by supervising emergency physician, supervising physician from another service, emergency medicine resident in TP - Transition to Practice, or resident from another discipline in C - Core of Discipline or TP - Transition to Practice
- Form 1
- procedure: Simple wound repair, Abscess drainage, Immobilization of extremity, Joint arthrocentesis, Slit lamp and intraocular pressure measurement, Anterior nasal packing, Intraosseous access, Complex wound repair, Central venous access with ultrasound guidance, Reduction of an extremity fracture, Lumbar puncture, Reduction of large joint dislocation, Regional anesthesia, Thoracostomy tube insertion
- collect 35 observations of achievement
- at least 2 observations of each procedure in the clinical environment
