include recognizing the interplay between substance use disorders and other medical or psychiatric diseases and addressing both the mental and physical health of the patient
assessment plan
- direct observation and case discussion by supervising physician (emergency or from another appropriate specialty), or resident in TP - Transition to Practice
- Form 1
- cp: alcohol, opioids, stimulant, sedative/hypnotic
- collect 10 observations of achievement, a variety of presentations, at least 5 clinical (not simulated) observations
