Salesforce concepts and use
- Leads: not yet customers, name of potential contacts for the business
- Accounts: customer business we sale to, revised for different industry, present 360 view
- Contacts: the people who I interact with, who work for the customer businesses, specific contact info; each person interacted with in contacts records
- Opportunities: hold details of a specific deal
- Cases: customer reported issues require resolution
- Activities: email, phone call, logged in interaction, all the ones done to support the customer account
- Reports and Dashboards: chatter with colleagues
